## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
 * Six to eight years of relevant technical experience
 * Five or more years of leading a software engineering team

 * Strong expertise supporting and leading technology teams within a Hogan core banking environment .
 * Deep understanding of core banking systems , banking operations, customer servicing, deposits, lending, payments, and financial services technology.
 * Experience with mainframe technologies including COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, and IBM z/OS environments.
 * Proven success leading engineering teams responsible for large-scale, highly available, mission-critical applications.
 * Experience delivering application modernization, integration, and platform transformation initiatives within regulated environments.
 * Strong knowledge of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, automation, application lifecycle management, and software engineering best practices .
 * Ability to build strong partnerships with business stakeholders, architects, operations teams, and executive leadership.
 * Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, strategic planning, and talent development skills.

## Description

* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers responsible for the design, delivery, support, and modernization of Hogan-based core banking applications .
 * Drive the successful execution of application development, enhancement, integration, and production support initiatives across the Hogan ecosystem.
 * Partner with business leaders, product owners, and technology stakeholders to translate banking requirements into scalable technical solutions.
 * Establish engineering best practices, development standards, operational processes, and quality controls to ensure reliable system performance.
 * Oversee application stability, incident management, problem resolution, and continuous service improvement for business-critical banking platforms.
 * Lead modernization efforts, identifying opportunities to improve architecture, automation, operational efficiency, and maintainability.
 * Collaborate with enterprise architecture, infrastructure, security, and vendor teams to support strategic technology and business objectives.
 * Manage project delivery, resource planning, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communications while fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
