## About the Role

Education: A Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline is required. Alternatively, a Master's degree or a PhD in a STEM discipline is acceptable.

Experience: Candidates must possess 12 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, 10 years of experience with a Master's degree, or 8 years of experience with a PhD.

Technical Skills: Proven proficiency in Word is required. Candidates must have a working knowledge of DO-229D Appendix R, knowledge of TSO/MSO-C145, and working knowledge of test automation and simulation for GPS integrity verification and validation. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are necessary. This position requires U.S. citizenship.

Preferred Qualifications

 * Knowledge of DO-178C development processes.
 * Working knowledge of standard test equipment, including network analyzers, oscilloscopes, waveform generators, synthesizers, digitizers, and signal analyzers.
 * Working knowledge of Spirent or other GPS testing equipment.

## Description

* Identify, troubleshoot, and remediate equipment issues to support system build-out and sell-off.
 * Communicate project status to the Integration and Test IPT Lead.
 * Collaborate with systems engineers to perform system architecture characterization studies on various system components.
 * Design, develop, and implement testing methods for individual pieces of equipment, including custom and commercial off-the-shelf components, as well as entire systems.
 * Compile data and assist in defining necessary changes in testing methodology, equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, and testing requirements.
