## About the Role

* Minimum of 4 years of test engineering experience with a solid understanding of standard Design for Test (DFT) techniques and a basic understanding of Cisco or industry-standard testing methodologies. Additionally, experience in the electronics manufacturing industry or in automated hardware or software testing is required.
 * Proficient in Software Programming, specifically Python and Bash
 * Strong adherence to coding standards.
 * Familiarity with version control and continuous integration software tools such as Github and Jenkins.
 * Experience in manufacturing and hardware testing, with the ability to debug, analyze, and identify root causes of manufacturing yield and test issues, * Experience in data networking and strong knowledge of statistical analysis
 * Proactive and adaptable, with a strong commitment to continuous learning and growth
 * Proficient in automation platforms
 * Understanding of hardware architectures, design concepts, and engineering development practices
 * Skilled in driving resolution of hardware design and diagnostic issues

## Description

* End-to-end test development of data center switching products; Develop test automation script using Python.
 * Support EMS partners and product-related testing issues; Collaborate with product team to implement and implement test strategies, test plans, and test processes.
 * Generate product-specific test plans and drive test coverage based on product requirements; Design, build, and deploy test platforms for Cisco's global manufacturing partner.
 * Analyze, approach, and root cause manufacturing yield issues and field escapes; Drive issues to closure with preventive measures; Drive test-related improvement and optimization.
 * Specify, develop, and/or procure test equipment, test fixtures, and test solutions; Define debug processes for test engineers in manufacturing sites.
