## About the Role

What you will need to succeed in the role: (Minimum Qualification and Skills Required)

 * A good understanding of the key elements of a stress testing processes, its purpose and typical operating models.
 * It is desirable a candidate demonstrates an interest in Stress Testing and an appreciation of the potential implications to the world economy, individuals and corporate customers of HSBC and consequences for the strategy of the bank.
 * Can demonstrate they have made a material contribution to building data management / reporting systems and processes.
 * Can demonstrate a full understanding of the elements forming a robust control process and effective organizational skills to consistently execute one within the organization's non-financial risk framework.
 * Can demonstrate a good understanding of data elements critical to Stress Testing.
 * Strong communication skills on a business and technical level, quickly grasping and understanding processes and dependencies with the ability to apply and communicate the knowledge gained.
 * Confident to work effectively with stakeholders across the bank, driving and influencing outcomes to deliver activities on time and to progressively improve the efficiency of processes over the longer term.
 * Ability to act as an effective interface between business users and the technical community within Finance Change Delivery and Finance IT.
 * Strong technical skills in a programming language used for data analytics and automation such as Python, SAS, or R.

## Description

* Supporting the design, build, testing and execution of data consolidation and reporting processes and systems.
 * Undertaking analysis over large data sets for the purpose of providing insight and assessing data quality.
 * Design and oversight of suitable governance practices to ensure accurate, complete, and appropriate quality of reporting.
 * Working alongside Risk and Finance colleagues to materially improve execution times while maintaining quality.
 * Submission of structured and unstructured regulatory reports to the Prudential Regulatory Authority and other regional regulators such as HKMA, EBA, etc.
 * Supporting the collation of internal management information on Stress Test results for consumption by internal stakeholders.
