Cloud breaches don't make headlines because they're rare. They make headlines because so much now runs on infrastructure that was never designed with today's threat landscape in mind. This established security business, an enterprise-scale player with 250+ staff and a client list built on trust rather than trend, is hiring a Cloud Platform Security Engineer to help keep large, complex environments locked down. You'd be joining a team that treats security as a discipline, not an afterthought. Here's what you'll be doing: Design and implement security controls across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP), covering identity, network segmentation and data protection Monitor cloud environments for misconfigurations, vulnerabilities and anomalous activity, then act on what you find Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code security baselines so new deployments are secure by default Work with engineering teams to embed security into CI/CD pipelines rather than bolting it on afterwards Respond to security incidents involving cloud infrastructure, from triage through to root cause analysis Produce clear documentation and reporting for audits, compliance reviews and internal stakeholders
