## About the Role

Do you have experience in Water resources?, * You have a PhD (or working towards) in Environmental Engineering/Science (or equivalent experience) with a strong mathematical background

 * You have previous expertise in hydrology and water resource systems modelling, and preferably groundwater systems modelling
 * You have good programming skills in one or more of the following languages: Python - R - Matlab

## Description

* Work with the PI (Pianosi) and other researchers in the trans-national consortium to develop methods for water resource planning focusing on groundwater systems.
 * Test and demonstrate the new methods on dataset from Great Britain and other European countries.
 * Contribute to implementing the new methods in open source-software packages.
 * Contribute to the dissemination of project output through participation to conferences and the production of academic papers.
