## About the Role

* A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
 * Strong 3D CAD and surface modelling skills, ideally including CATIA.
 * Experience in Formula 1 or motorsport aerodynamic surfacing, ideally supporting wind tunnel, CFD or race car development programmes.
 * A strong understanding of aerodynamic development and the interfaces between surfacing, CFD and wind tunnel testing.
 * Familiarity with FIA technical regulations and legality requirements.
 * Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver accurate, high-quality work under pressure.
 * Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
 * A proactive, adaptable mindset with a genuine interest in aerodynamic performance and continuous improvement.

## Description

Working closely with Aerodynamicists and other engineering specialists, you'll translate aerodynamic concepts into accurate, high-quality surface models that support the ongoing development of our car.

This is an opportunity to make a direct contribution to car performance, working alongside talented engineers to develop aerodynamic solutions that help drive Aston Martin Aramco's ambition to challenge at the front of the grid., * Deliver aerodynamic surfacing projects from concept through to release, including modelling, validation and documentation.

 * Develop accurate, high-quality surface models for CFD, wind tunnel testing and race car application.
 * Work closely with Aerodynamicists to develop design concepts and contribute to aerodynamic development strategies.
 * Support aero development programmes, identifying opportunities to improve model quality, accuracy and test efficiency.
 * Contribute to parametric modelling strategies, surfacing methodologies and continuous improvement of design tools and workflows.
 * Identify technical risks and design opportunities, communicating progress and solutions to senior designers.
 * Apply sound engineering judgement to ensure designs meet technical requirements, quality standards and programme deadlines., At Aston Martin Aramco, you'll work alongside experienced Aerodynamicists and engineers, contributing directly to the development of our car. Your surfacing expertise will help turn aerodynamic concepts into geometry that can be developed, tested and refined in pursuit of improved performance.
