## About the Role

* Extensive experience within the Microsoft ecosystem, particularly Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry and Azure DevOps.
 * Practical experience building and deploying AI or machine learning solutions into production, not solely academic, research or proof-of-concept work.
 * Software development capability, ideally with Python; JavaScript or other development languages are an advantage.
 * Solid technical understanding of LLMs, NLP, machine learning fundamentals and prompt engineering.
 * Experience designing prompts, grounding strategies and knowledge integrations to produce reliable AI responses.
 * Ability to work with agentic AI and integrate AI solutions into existing workflows and core business systems.
 * Experience assessing and integrating third-party AI platforms and tools, building proofs of concept and contributing to build-versus-buy decisions.
 * Understanding of AI security, data privacy, access controls and auditability, plus awareness of relevant regulatory requirements, including GDPR and the EU AI Act.
 * Strong stakeholder skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and explain complex AI concepts clearly to non-technical users.
 * Pragmatic, risk-aware approach focused on trusted, reliable and explainable AI.
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively across teams, functions and international offices.
 * Legal or professional services experience is beneficial but not essential. Experience in another complex professional environment where security, confidentiality and reliability are important is also relevant.
 * Hands-on AI engineering experience building and deploying production solutions, ideally within the Microsoft ecosystem. This is not a purely strategic AI or innovation role, nor a traditional data science role without strong software engineering and solution-delivery experience.
