## About the Role

## Description

4 Corner Resources is hiring multiple Systems Administrators for remote contract roles supporting enterprise Windows and Linux server environments. These are 3-month contract opportunities with potential to extend up to 12 months. It's a strong fit for experienced, certified administrators who want to own day-to-day server operations, lead implementations, and mentor technicians while working a standard weekday schedule.

Systems Administrator Responsibilities:

 * Administer and monitor enterprise server systems, reviewing application logs and system consoles to keep services running reliably
 * Investigate warnings, errors, and reported issues to find root cause, then build action plans and document, test, and implement fixes
 * Work incoming requests and incidents through a problem management queue
 * Deploy new server systems following documented plans and formal change control
 * Design and plan project implementations based on business requirements, best practices, and vendor guidance
 * Coordinate support and repair work with vendors and onsite staff
 * Mentor and train technicians and contribute to a knowledge-sharing team culture
 * Write new process documentation and keep existing documentation current
 * Provide at least bi-weekly status updates on active projects
 * Recommend improvements to support processes and services
