## About the Role

* This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required) (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
 * Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
 * Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership."
 * 5+ years of experience in Electronics Packaging Design in any of the following disciplines: Airborne, Space, Digital, RF or Power mechanical systems
 * 5+ years of experience with Electrical, Electronic, and Electromechanical (EEE) component, Circuit Card Assembly, and Printed Wiring Board specification and quality requirements

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

 * Previous experience in designing power or digital electronics units
 * Master's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
 * Experience in structural and thermal analysis
 * Proficiency in CREO, Teamcenter, MS Project and Mentor Xpedition
 * 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams

## Description

* Manages employees performing mechanical engineering and technical activities in the area of Power and Digital Electronics product design
 * Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
 * Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
 * Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
 * Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
 * Manages, develops and motivates employees
