## About the Role

* 5+ years of experience working with Atlassian Jira/Jira Service Management (JSM), preferably JSM Cloud
 * Experience with Jira marketplace applications including ScriptRunner and Email This Issue
 * Strong knowledge of Jira automation
 * Experience with workflow post-functions, validators, conditions, and transitions
 * Experience with Jira Assets
 * Experience using REST APIs for integrations and automation
 * Basic scripting knowledge in Python and JavaScript
 * Understanding of ITSM processes (Incident Management, Service Request Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Asset Management) Coming from a well-known Financial services (e.g. Goldman Sachs) or big tech company (e.g meta, AWS, etc.)
 * Experience with PagerDuty Financial services/finance industry experience

## Description

This individual will support and enhance the organization's Jira Service Management environment, primarily within JSM Cloud. They will be responsible for configuring workflows, automation, validators, conditions, transitions, and post-functions while leveraging marketplace applications such as ScriptRunner and Email This Issue. The resource will work on integrations using REST APIs, maintain and optimize Asset Management capabilities, support ITSM processes, and develop scripting-based solutions using Python and JavaScript where needed. They will collaborate closely with a small team to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
