Minimum Required Qualifications

Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree, and minimum of 12 years of experience, including at least 5 years supporting DoD programs, OR

 + 15 years of experience, including at least 8 years supporting DoD programs

Technical Skills

 * Expertise in Agile SAFe 6.0 methodologies, supporting iterative software development, program increment (PI) planning, and continuous delivery practices.
 * Strong background in software engineering and system analysis, including requirements decomposition, technical solution development, and lifecycle management.
 * Experience developing and maintaining software baselines, configuration management processes, and release management activities.
 * Proven ability to support system architecture and requirements development, ensuring alignment with mission and program objectives.
 * Hands-on experience with Python development for automation, data processing, software integration, and application development.
 * Proficiency using engineering and collaboration tools including Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, and Cameo Enterprise Architect.
 * Familiarity with AWS cloud resources and environments, supporting secure, scalable, and reliable software solutions.

Interpersonal Skills

 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
 * Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional, geographically dispersed, remote, and telework teams.

## Description

Duties include, but not limited to:

 * Support engineering activities across all phases of the DoD acquisition lifecycle (Materiel Solution Analysis through Operations & Support)
 * Apply software engineering principles to support system design, development, integration, and sustainment efforts
 * Support requirements development, analysis, traceability, and verification for software and system-level capabilities
 * Perform system design, integration, and technical analysis to ensure performance and mission effectiveness
 * Develop and review technical documentation, including system specifications, interface control documents, and engineering reports
 * Support technical reviews and program milestone activities (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR)
 * Collaborate with program management, logistics, test, and cybersecurity teams to ensure integrated system performance
 * Analyze system performance and recommend improvements to enhance functionality, reliability, and maintainability
 * Support risk identification, analysis, and mitigation planning for technical and program risks
 * Provide technical input to acquisition documentation and program decision-making processes
