Qualifications We Prefer * AI/ML, Data Science and SW Development experience preferred ## Description Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work on the Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS) International programs as part of the Software Engineering department at our Fort Wayne, Indiana office site. This is an excellent opportunity to join the fast paced and exciting Raytheon/Collins team. Success in this position will enhance the reach of the AFATDS International family of products throughout the world. The successful candidate is expected to work in a team environment under the guidance of a team leader to develop implementation of software requirements for various Fire Support Command and Control (C2) software products, including, but not limited to, the development of future capabilities required for advanced battlefield situations and may also serve as a sub-team lead or Scrum Master, helping coordinate day-to-day technical activities, ensuring alignment with sprint goals, and supporting agile development practices. What You Will Do * Implement AFATDS software capabilities for new and/or updated requirements * Identify, analyze, and remedy bugs in the existing AFATDS software * Path find future software capabilities involving AI toolsets and algorithms * Work with a technical mentor utilizing a defined project plan and milestones * Act as a Scrum Master when needed, facilitating agile processes and effective communication. * Serve as a sub-team leader by coordinating technical tasks and ensuring program alignment.
