As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer on CrowdStrike's TechOps CICD team, you will be a key contributor to a team of engineers responsible for keeping our software factory running at scale. You'll provide technical leadership across on-premises virtualization, IaaS platforms, and storage infrastructure, drive strategic initiatives, and help shape the team's move toward a KVM-based private cloud and modern block storage architecture. What You'll Do: * Lead the design and operation of on-premises virtualization environments, with a focus on QEMU/KVM and OpenNebula * Drive the team's migration from VMware toward a KVM-based IaC private cloud model * Contribute to the TrueNAS to PowerFlex migration, including storage cluster design and operational handoff * Design, build, and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Packer, and Ansible * Operate and optimize distributed storage infrastructure and protocols (NFS, CIFS, block storage) * Ensure proper monitoring, maintenance, and resilience of critical R&D environments * Determine root-cause for incidents, correlate recurring patterns to systemic issues, and drive resolution * Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers on the team * Contribute to and review IaC, automation scripts, and configuration management code
