## About the Role

* 5+ years of experience developing enterprise-level applications using object-oriented technology stacks.
 * 3+ years of experience as a Senior Appian Developer developing enterprise applications on the Appian platform.
 * 3+ years of experience with Appian components including Process Models, Records, Reports, Rules, SAIL, Security, Integrations, and Web APIs.
 * Experience integrating Appian with external systems, APIs, and enterprise applications.
 * Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field, and/or equivalent military experience., * Appian Lead Developer Certification.
 * Experience with AI, Generative AI, intelligent automation, or machine learning-enabled business solutions.
 * Experience with Java or any other object-oriented software development.
 * Experience with UIPath or other robotic process automation (RPA) platforms.
 * Proficiency in SQL and relational database design and development.
 * Experience working with cloud-native architecture, REST APIs, and modern integration frameworks.

What you'll do:

 * Develop and maintain enterprise-level applications using the Appian platform.
 * Build applications including user interfaces, process workflows, data models, records, reports, and integrations.
 * Design and develop process models, records, reports, SAIL interfaces, web services, and reusable application components.
 * Partner with architects, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to deliver innovative automation and AI-enabled solutions.
 * Guide development teams in implementing best practices for designing, testing, securing, and deploying Appian applications.
 * Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to improve application performance, reliability, and user satisfaction.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Appian applications with enterprise platforms, cloud services, APIs, and emerging technologies.
 * Contribute to the evaluation and adoption of new technologies, including AI-powered capabilities, intelligent document processing, process mining, and automation tools.
