## About the Role

You don't need to be an expert in aerial photography or surveying - we'll be happy to teach you the tricks of the trade., * Bachelor in Geography, Surveying, Geomatics, Computer Science or a related field

 * Knowledge of GIS software (such as QGIS, ArcGIS, Global Mapper, etc.)
 * Affinity with photogrammetry and/or LiDAR is a plus
 * Interest in AI and data analysis
 * Analytical, accurate and strong in communication
 * You can work independently, but you are also a team player
 * You speak Dutch fluently (other languages are an asset)

## Description

As a GIS specialist at Vansteelandt, you will be involved in processing, analyzing and managing geographic data from our air measurements and other sources. You play a key role in translating raw data into usable maps, inventories and applications for internal services and customers., * Processing and analyzing geographic data (photos, LiDAR, vector and raster data)

 * Creating thematic maps, inventories and visual reports based on our datasets
 * Supporting the development and use of our Plan3D platform
 * Collaborate with AI and data engineering teams for data processing and insight extraction
 * Supporting mapping and inventory projects based on air data
 * Participate in the further automation and optimization of GIS processes
