## About the Role

* Experience in large-scale data migration and complex infrastructure projects.
 * Experience managing cloud development and working with multiple suppliers.
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 * Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
 * Azure, AWS or another relevant cloud administration or development certification.

Desirable Skills

 * Experience with Meter Data Management Systems (MDMS).
 * Experience working in an Agile environment.
 * Knowledge of the Smart Energy Code (SEC) and its impact on network operators.

## Description

* Work as part of a small team of around 3-5 people, with no direct staff management responsibilities.
 * Work with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver technical changes, upgrades and maintenance.
 * Communicate technical issues, risks and their potential impact on the business.
 * Work regularly with senior stakeholders across IT and business teams.
 * Ensure smart meter systems are reliable, secure and available.

Technical Responsibilities

Manage and support the following systems and processes:

 * Azure Application Services
 * Gamma Routers
 * DCC physical and virtual gateway connections
 * Database storage and SQL databases
 * Azure Databricks storage
 * Hardware Security Modules (HSM), including code changes and upgrades
 * Siemens EnergyIP
 * Data cleansing activities
 * Database backup and retention policies
 * Oracle databases
