## About the Role

* Significant experience in Enterprise Architecture, or an equivalent senior architecture leadership role.
 * Experience defining enterprise-wide technology strategies, target architectures and transformation roadmaps.
 * Broad architectural knowledge spanning applications, cloud, data, integration, infrastructure and security.
 * Strong understanding of AWS and Azure, modern application architectures, APIs and enterprise integration patterns.
 * Experience driving technology rationalisation, platform strategy and architectural governance.
 * The ability to influence senior stakeholders and align business priorities with technology direction.
 * A pragmatic, delivery-focused approach, balancing strategic thinking with achievable outcomes.
 * Experience within regulated financial services would be highly advantageous.

## Description

We're partnering with a leading financial services organisation to identify an experienced Enterprise Architect to help shape technology strategy, drive enterprise-wide transformation and ensure technology investments deliver long-term business value.

This is an opportunity to operate at a senior level, working across business and technology teams to define architectural direction, simplify complex technology estates and enable sustainable, scalable change.

The Role

You will play a key role in translating business strategy into practical technology roadmaps, balancing long-term architectural vision with the realities of delivery.

Key responsibilities will include:

 * Defining and evolving enterprise target architectures, transition states and technology roadmaps.
 * Shaping major transformation programmes and ensuring solutions align with wider enterprise strategy.
 * Driving technology rationalisation, platform consolidation and the reduction of technical debt.
 * Establishing practical architecture principles, standards, reusable patterns and governance frameworks.
 * Working closely with Engineering, Cloud, Data, Cyber Security and Platform teams to enable secure, scalable technology delivery.
 * Influencing senior business and technology stakeholders, communicating architectural decisions and strategic trade-offs.
 * Evaluating technology platforms and vendors, considering business value, cost, resilience, security and long-term maintainability.
 * Assessing emerging technologies, including AI and automation, to identify opportunities for business value.
