## About the Role

Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus 6 months of relevant experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance obtainable within reasonable time based on requirements. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required., * Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Agile experience preferred.

 * 2+ years of professional experience in Systems Engineering, including Test & Integration, Requirements Analysis, Model Based Systems Engineering or Hardware Systems work (Master's degree plus 6 months of relevant experience).
 * Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
 * Experience in Systems Engineering, including Test & Integration, Requirements, MBSE, or Hardware-Systems.
 * Knowledge of systems design, MBSE modeling, and simulation.
 * Familiarity with requirements management tools (DOORS, Cameo, or similar).
 * Experience with defense, aerospace, or mission-critical systems., * Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and technical standards.
 * Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to evolving systems.
 * Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
 * Passion for innovation in defense technology.
 * Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.

## Description

* Execute systems engineering activities in Test & Integration, Requirements, MBSE, or Hardware-Systems, depending on focus area.
 * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure system performance, reliability, and compliance.
 * Document, review, and manage system requirements using requirements management tools and MBSE.
 * Participate in design reviews, verification, and validation activities., * AI-Assisted Engineering - Ability to leverage generative AI tools to accelerate systems engineering tasks such as requirements analysis, test documentation, design trade studies, and report summarization
 * AI Fluency - Comfort working with enterprise AI platforms and multiple AI models, including understanding when and how to apply AI effectively while following established guardrails for handling CUI and proprietary data
 * Continuous AI Learning - Willingness to stay current with evolving AI capabilities and adopt new AI-enabled workflows to improve engineering productivity and quality
