## Description

Our client, a major communication services provider, is seeking a highly experienced Software Developer III to design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications. This role is focused on Java development, with an emphasis on building reliable, scalable applications and contributing to technical design and architecture decisions. The ideal candidate is a seasoned Java developer who can quickly jump into an existing environment, contribute to development efforts, and collaborate with other engineers to deliver high-quality software.
This position is W-2 only. We do not work with third-party firms or C2C arrangements for this role.
Core Responsibilities

 * Design, develop, configure, test, debug, and maintain software applications using Java
 * Build and maintain applications using Java JDK 21 and the Spring Boot framework
 * Develop and maintain RESTful web services and APIs
 * Contribute to technical design specifications based on business and functional requirements
 * Review functional requirements, technical designs, and application specifications to ensure quality and consistency
 * Deploy and support Spring Boot applications in Kubernetes environments
 * Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and deliver effective solutions
 * Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviews
 * Develop and maintain technical and operational documentation
