## About the Role

Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Mobile Technology, Smartphones, Computer Systems, Robotics, Laptop PC, Software Engineering, Use Cases, Cross-Functional, The successful applicant should have a strong theoretical background and proven hands-on experience with enabling on-device AI using modern software engineering best practices.

Must have experience and skills:

 * Expert-level proficiency in C++ and Python with a strong foundation in software design, development, and optimization.
 * Knowledge of deep learning and ML frameworks ( i.e. PyTorch ).
 * Strong software design skills with a focus on usability.
 * Hands-on experience in low-level system debugging, performance tuning, memory analysis, and native inference driver development/debugging.
 * Experience in Embedded Software development.
 * At least 3 years of work experience in a relevant field.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

 * Experience with Android development, including Java, JNI, NDK, and native framework integration.
 * Knowledge of Generative AI ( GenAI ) technologies.
 * Knowledge of neural network model optimization and on-target deployment is a plus.
 * Previous experience with Docker, Git and CI/CD.
 * Knowledge of NPUs / ML accelerators.
 * Knowledge of modern Generative AI architectures, including LLMs, VLMs, inference pipelines, and model deployment, is a strong plus.

Minimum Qualifications:

 * Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.

OR

Master''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
