## About the Role

Systems Engineering, United States Army, Systems Engineering, Analysis Skills, Leadership, Requirements Management, Change Management, Configuration Management, Technical Analysis, Technical Presentation, * Bachelor's of Science degree in engineering, engineering science, physical science, or mathematical science discipline; OR,

 * Associate''s degree in engineering, engineering science, physical science, or mathematical science discipline + 4 years of work experience; OR
 * 10 years of work experience.

CERTIFICATION(S):

 * Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) recommended., * 10+ years of progressively complex experience in the design, development, integration, and testing of DOD or IC intelligence systems.
 * 8+ years of experience in a systems engineering position working on DOD programs / projects.
 * 5+ years of experience in a systems engineering management position leading a technical team working on DOD or IC programs / projects.
 * Familiar with system engineering V-model, requirements development, management and traceability, design, development, integration, validation, and verification.
 * Experience with review process (SRR, PDR, CDR) required.

## Description

Intrepid Solutions has open a Systems Engineer position supporting our US Army TENCAP client to help enable the Army to rapidly exploit and influence national capabilities and architectures in Alexandria, VA., The Systems Engineer shall develop and execute Systems Engineering processes including:

 * Prepare decision justification materials
 * Prepare design studies to identify and address program / project capability gaps
 * Prepare analysis of alternatives and recommendations for decision
 * Prepare study results for presentation to leadership
 * Develop and manage requirement baselines
 * Address configuration and change management
 * Prepare, present, and evaluate technical reviews
 * Execute risk, issue, and opportunity management
 * Coordinate with test and evaluation staff for execution of requirements verification and validation.
 * Provide technical input to Simplified Acquisition Management Plans (SAMPs) to address the program's overall acquisition approach, including systems engineering and risk management approaches for TENCAP projects.

OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS:

 * This position anticipates standard work hours, Monday-Friday.
