## About the Role

Software Engineering, Startup, Revenue Growth, Computer Systems, Scalable System Development, Systems Administration/Management, Application Programming Interface (API), Database Technology, Database Optimization, Data Visualization, Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, plus six (6) years of software development experience.

Must also have four (4) years of experience in each of the following:

 * Building software solutions in Java, C++, Python, or Ruby;
 * Designing, building and maintaining scalable systems;
 * Translating business needs into software requirements and designs;
 * Debugging production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack;
 * Distributed systems; and
 * Design and implementation of scalable high-performance RESTful microservices.

## Description

* Develop scalable computer systems that manage a large volume of information and use them to fulfill business goals for the company and its partners.
 * Improve backend scalability and performance by integrating lightweight backend framework, overhauling APIs and optimizing database systems.
 * Design and build tools that ingest and process signals from various sources to make them more accessible for the company's partner teams.
 * Design and implement logging and data visualization system for backend APIs.
 * Diagnose and resolve software issues reported from production, automated testing, QA testing and customers.
 * Design and implement scalable and reliable automated testing suites to reduce manual Quality Assurance tasks.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams and streamlined software development and deployment processes with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines.
