As a Principal Embedded Software Engineer, you will play a key role in architecting, designing, and implementing embedded real-time software solutions for complex systems that integrate hardware, firmware, and software. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure product quality, functionality, and performance. Your contributions will directly impact the development of mission-critical systems. What You Will Do * Architect, design, implement, test, and debug integrated embedded real-time software within heterogeneous systems composed of firmware and hardware. * Lead software development efforts for teams of 3 to 4 engineers. * Collaborate with cross-discipline teams to define, refine, and improve product concepts, implementation, testability, and measurable quality. * Teach, coach, and mentor less experienced staff to enhance team capabilities. * Contribute to proposals, preliminary design reviews, and critical design reviews. * Participate in the integration and testing of embedded real-time software applications written in C++ or closely related software languages. * Work with real-time operating systems such as Linux or VxWorks. * Engage in occasional business-related travel as required, up to 10%. * This job is onsite in Plano, TX; local residency or relocation required., + Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite.
