## About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Lead Consultant to lead technical development, enhancements, and support across SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments. The ideal candidate will have strong ABAP development expertise, experience working with large-scale SAP systems, and the ability to deliver complex technical solutions in a manufacturing environment.
The role requires close collaboration with functional teams, business stakeholders, and global delivery teams to ensure high-quality development, system performance, and reliable integrations., 12-15 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.

Strong technical expertise in SAP ECC and large-scale SAP environments.
*
Proven experience leading complex SAP development and enhancement projects.
*
Strong knowledge of RICEFW, ABAP Objects, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and SAP forms.
*
Experience with SAP integration technologies, including IDocs, RFCs, web services, and APIs.
*
Knowledge of SAP technical architecture, debugging, and performance optimization.
*
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and client-facing skills.
*
Manufacturing industry experience is mandatory.
*
Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Reno, Nevada, and collaborate with business, IT, and global delivery teams.

Preferred Qualifications
*
Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA technical development.
*
Exposure to CDS Views, OData services, SAP Fiori, and SAP BTP.
*
Experience with AI/Generative AI, machine learning algorithms, and prompt engineering.
*
Familiarity with SAP IP-Tools and Workflow/Flexi WF.
*
SAP technical certifications are an advantage.

## Description

Lead SAP ABAP development and technical delivery across SAP ECC applications.
*
Design, develop, and maintain RICEFW objects, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
*
Develop and support ABAP Objects, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Smart Forms, and Adobe Forms.
*
Build and maintain integrations using IDocs, RFCs, web services, and APIs.
*
Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with SAP development standards and best practices.
*
Perform performance tuning, debugging, root-cause analysis, and technical issue resolution.
*
Collaborate with SAP functional consultants and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
*
Support SAP S/4HANA migration activities, including custom code remediation and modernization.
*
Contribute to workflow development and explore opportunities to leverage AI and Generative AI in SAP technical processes.
