## Description

RESPONSIBILITIES: A OpenKyber client has an exciting opportunity in San Antonio, TX for an IT Portfolio Manager to help drive strategic execution across the IT project portfolio. This is a contract-to-hire position, and while much of the work is remote, candidate needs to be located in the San Antonio area to go onsite as needed.
Summary: As an IT Portfolio Manager, you will serve as both a strategic partner and an execution driver, working closely with senior leaders-including CEO direct reports-to shape, manage, and deliver high-impact initiatives across the organization. Key Responsibilities:

 * IT Portfolio Manager will partner with business line leaders to intake, define, and roadmap strategic initiatives
 * Support executive-level portfolio reviews through compelling visual and narrative storytelling
 * Monitor initiative progress, identify risks and dependencies, and drive mitigation strategies
 * Contribute to quarterly and annual planning, including benefits realization tracking
 * As an IT Portfolio Manager, you will assist in capacity and resource planning with IT and business stakeholders
 * Develop playbooks, frameworks, and process improvements to enhance delivery effectiveness
 * Lead or support internal initiatives such as capability builds, maturity assessments, and governance redesigns
