## Description

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Backend team, you'll take significant ownership over the engineering system and drive projects from idea through completion.

You'll work on consumer-facing features, complex data-driven systems, and the engineering infrastructure that allows a fast-growing team to ship quickly and reliably.

Build Consumer-Facing Products

 * Build backend systems powering consumer-facing products used by millions of users
 * Develop features that directly impact core business and product metrics
 * Own projects from technical design through implementation, testing, deployment, and iteration
 * Work closely with Product, Growth, Design, and Engineering to turn ideas into high-quality experiences
 * Build reliable systems capable of supporting significant transaction and user volume

Solve Difficult Technical Problems

 * Design and implement solutions to complex data-driven problems
 * Work on systems such as optimal matchmaking, anti-fraud, and other high-scale platform challenges
 * Build services and infrastructure that support real-money consumer experiences
 * Identify technical bottlenecks and opportunities to improve system performance, reliability, and scalability
 * Make thoughtful architectural decisions as the platform and user base continue to grow
