Communications Domain Experience Communications experience is valuable, but the strongest candidates will bring a software and integration background. Depth in application integration, APIs, SDKs, and production migration is more important than traditional telecom infrastructure experience. ## Description Azure Communication Services (ACS) provides APIs and SDKs that customer applications use to deliver communications capabilities. When an ACS workload is retired, the migration challenge may be embedded in the customer''s application code and integrations. The Application Integration Migration Developer will help identify ACS dependencies in customer applications, implement the replacement integrations defined by the Migration Lead''s target-state design, validate end-to-end behavior, and support production cutover. You will support a portfolio of named customers through assessment, target-state design, implementation, cutover, and post-cutover stabilization, executing assigned workstreams under the direction of the Migration Lead. You will work directly with customer developers and coordinate with vendor engineers and Microsoft specialists as needed. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor delivery role. What You''ll Actually Do * Inspect customer applications and identify where ACS APIs and SDKs are being used. * Trace ACS dependencies across application code, configuration, APIs, webhooks, and downstream systems. * Work directly with customer developers to understand application dependencies and technical constraints. * Implement replacement integrations mapped to Microsoft Graph, Teams, Dynamics 365, Azure Event Grid, Logic Apps, or approved third-party APIs/platforms, per the target-state design provided by the Migration Lead. * Read, troubleshoot, and modify application integration code to implement required changes. * Execute integration testing, validation, and dry runs according to the test and cutover plans. * Use logs, telemetry, API responses, and application behavior to diagnose migration issues. * Support production cutover bridges and post-cutover stabilization activities. * Track ACS usage drawdown against baseline for assigned workloads. * Contribute to reusable migration patterns, technical documentation, and runbooks to accelerate subsequent customer migrations.
