## About the Role

 * 5+ years of experience working with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, or Microsoft Azure.
 * Experience designing and implementing large-scale data processing solutions using GCP technologies including BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud Composer, and Terraform.
 * Experience developing applications and services using Java.
 * Experience with SQL, relational databases, stored procedures, and data integration architectures.
 * Experience building and supporting ETL and data transformation solutions.
 * Experience developing and maintaining REST APIs and web services.
 * Experience implementing CI/CD practices and automated deployment processes.
 * Experience writing unit tests and maintaining high code quality standards.
 * Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and iterative delivery practices.
 * Demonstrated analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
 * Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
 * Ability to influence technical decisions, guide implementation approaches, and drive delivery outcomes across distributed teams.

Preferred Qualifications

 * 7+ years of experience delivering enterprise-scale cloud and data engineering solutions.
 * Experience with Apache Airflow orchestration frameworks.

 * Experience working with offshore and geographically distributed engineering teams.
 * Google Cloud Professional Certification(s).
 * Experience using Jira or similar Agile work management platforms.
 * Proven ability to identify process improvements, drive operational efficiencies, and contribute to engineering best practices.
 * Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership within Agile teams.
