Strong executive presence with the ability to advise CTOs and leadership teams. ## Description Vice President of Technology - Perm - Menlo Park, CA - $250,000 -$300,000, Our Client is seeking a Vice President of Technology to join its Operating Team and support a portfolio of high-growth, private equity-backed software companies. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to CTOs and engineering leaders, helping scale engineering organizations, improve delivery execution, optimize cloud infrastructure, drive security and compliance initiatives, and support post-acquisition technology integrations. This is a hands-on operating role, not a traditional corporate VP position. The ideal candidate combines executive leadership experience with deep technical credibility and has a track record of scaling engineering teams within PE-backed SaaS environments. Portfolio Company Leadership Partner directly with CTOs and engineering leaders across multiple portfolio companies. Act as a trusted advisor, mentor, and execution partner to help teams scale effectively. Step into player-coach situations during critical projects, leadership gaps, or escalations. Engineering Organization & Leadership Advise on engineering organizational design, team structures, hiring strategies, and career frameworks.
