The ideal candidate will combine strong hands-on development capabilities with technical leadership and experience in application modernization, cloud integration, production support, observability, and application security. The role requires strong Banking/Financial Services domain experience and the ability to lead technical delivery across business-critical enterprise applications. Day to Day Job Duties * Design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise-scale .NET applications using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core/.NET Framework, MVC, and ADO.NET. * Design and develop REST APIs, Web Services, WCF services, and backend integration components. * Develop and optimize database solutions using SQL Server, stored procedures, and complex SQL queries. * Support ETL, data migration, and reporting solutions using SSIS and SSRS. * Lead modernization of legacy .NET applications and migration/integration with AWS or Microsoft Azure. * Analyze existing applications and recommend improvements in architecture, maintainability, performance, and scalability. * Provide hands-on production support, troubleshoot complex incidents, and perform root cause analysis. * Perform application and database performance tuning to improve system reliability and responsiveness. * Implement application monitoring and observability using Dynatrace, Splunk, Zabbix, or similar platforms. * Identify and remediate application security vulnerabilities identified through SAST/DAST and security scanning. * Work with tools such as Veracode and Qualys to track and remediate security findings. * Lead code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, secure development practices, and engineering best practices. * Coordinate application deployments, release activities, production validation, and post-release support. * Provide technical guidance and mentoring to development team members. * Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, QA, DevOps, Security, and Infrastructure teams in an Agile environment.
