## Description

KBR is seeking a Principal Software Architect and Development Lead to serve as the software discipline lead for engineering and development activities.

Provide technical leadership and architectural oversight for software products, IR&D projects, and innovation initiatives., * Lead development teams in the design, implementation, testing, and deployment of modern software solutions.

 * Define and maintain software architecture standards and best practices.
 * Lead AI/ML, cloud, and digital transformation initiatives.
 * Conduct architecture reviews and code reviews while enforcing software quality standards.
 * Mentor software engineers and provide technical guidance across programs.
 * Support hiring activities including interviewing, candidate selection, onboarding, and workforce development.
 * Partner with leadership to develop and execute software strategy and technology roadmaps.
 * Collaborate with customers, program managers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver mission-focused software capabilities.
