## About the Role

* 6+ years in data engineering or data warehousing, with 3+ years hands-on in Snowflake
\n

 * Strong production experience with dbt, including project structure, testing, documentation and deployment
\n

 * Strong production experience with Apache Airflow, including authoring and maintaining DAGs and orchestrating dbt and Snowflake workloads
\n

 * Expert SQL and strong Python
\n

 * Deep knowledge of Snowflake features: Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Dynamic Tables, Time Travel, zero-copy cloning and semi-structured data
\n

 * Experience on at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP)
\n

 * Solid data modeling skills (dimensional, Data Vault or similar)
\n

 * A proven ability to work effectively in a remote or distributed team
\n

 * Excellent communication skills with both technical and business audiences
\n

 * Based on the US East Coast and authorized to work in the US [without sponsorship]
\n
