## About the Role

* 5-8+ years observability, monitoring, SRE, infrastructure, or APM.

## Description

ZipStaff is seeking a Senior Observability Engineer for the global technology estate of a major commercial real estate and facilities organization.
You will own Datadog across infra, apps, network, cloud, logs, and digital experience-plus automation (Rundeck, Ansible, Python) and AIOps. Datadog depth is the gate. One client interview; identity verification is required at submission.

What You'll Do:

 * Build, configure, and optimize Datadog (infra, APM, network, cloud, logs, DEM).
 * Create dashboards, monitors, alerts, integrations, SLIs, SLOs, and service-health views.
 * Configure and troubleshoot Datadog agents, integrations, APIs, collectors, and telemetry pipelines.
 * Automate onboarding, config, remediation, and ops with Rundeck, Ansible, Python, PowerShell, APIs, and Git.
 * Practice observability-as-code.
 * Tune AIOps: correlation, anomaly detection, intelligent alerting, noise reduction, incident enrichment.
 * Use AI/GenAI to speed troubleshooting and operational workflows.
 * Integrate Datadog with ServiceNow, Rundeck, cloud, and CI/CD.
 * Investigate issues from metrics, logs, traces, events, and network telemetry across APAC, AMER, and EMEA.
