## Description

The Data Center Structural Engineer is a core member of Fluidstack's Design and Engineering team. You will support the structural engineering workstream across a multi-site, multi-state development portfolio from early-stage site screening through design, permitting, and construction completion., Site Evaluation & Due Diligence

 * Support structural due diligence for greenfield and conversion sites: foundation conditions, existing structure assessments, and geotechnical constraints. * Review geotechnical reports and assist in assigning structural design actions based on soil bearing capacities, settlement risk, and seismic classifications. * Assist in identifying structural cost risks during site selection. * Evaluate site suitability for large-scale structural systems, heavy equipment loads, and critical infrastructure requirements.

Design & Standards

 * Apply and enforce structural basis of design, master specifications, and standard details for Fluidstack's campus portfolio. * Apply knowledge of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, and other industry-relevant design codes and standards across all project phases. * Assist in developing foundation strategies, structural systems selection, and phased delivery sequencing. * Coordinate structural scope with civil, MEP, and architectural design teams. * Contribute to structural systems design including steel framing, concrete foundations, tilt-up construction, and pre-engineered metal buildings.

Construction Support

 * Review contractor submittals, RFIs, and field conditions for structural scope. * Conduct periodic site visits and document structural construction quality and code compliance. * Support management of design changes and change order scope for structural work..
