## About the Role

 * 4+ years of experience in full-stack development, preferably with early-stage startups
 * Strong experience building financial systems is preferred

## Description

As a founding engineer, you will be at the core of building our product from the ground up. You'll have the opportunity to shape both the front-end and back-end architecture, working closely with the founders and early customers to solve complex financial problems., * Lead full-stack development of key product features that directly solves a problem for our customers.

 * Work directly with our customers, synthesize their feedback and help develop our roadmap.
 * Build and maintain robust integrations with financial systems including ERPs, HRIS, Procurement software, and CRMs
 * Design and implement core components of the backend platform, including the jobs framework, flexible data ingestion, and complex financial modeling
 * Ensure best practices in software development, including code quality, automated testing, and CI/CD
 * Collaborate with the founding team on product strategy, feature prioritization, and customer feedback loops
 * Build and maintain planning and agentic workflows using the state of the art large language models
 * Collaborate on technical decisions on scalability and security
 * Help build the engineering team and culture
