Responsibilities

 * Maintain and troubleshoot virtualized infrastructure environments using VMware
 * Configure and manage virtual machines (VMs) to ensure optimal performance and resource utilization
 * Automate system administration tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Ansible, Bash, and Python
 * Develop and maintain technical documentation for infrastructure processes and procedures
 * Collaborate with team members to resolve technical issues and share knowledge
 * Troubleshoot complex technical problems with minimal supervision
 * Maintain a strong understanding of system architecture, IaaS components, and system interdependencies
 * Install, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows operating systems

Preferred Skills and Experience

 * Knowledge of AWS environments, particularly tactical cloud environments
 * Programming or software development experience
 * VMware or Infrastructure-as-a-Service certifications
 * Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes, A Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or Information Systems is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
