## About the Role

* 3+ years of hands-on Rust experience across backend architecture, microservices, and container orchestration such as Kubernetes and Docker.

 * Strong experience with gRPC, message queues such as Kafka, distributed computing, and networking fundamentals.
\n

 * Deep familiarity with LLM APIs, including function calling, structured outputs, RAG, tool use, and agentic systems.
\n

 * A practical, thoughtful approach to using AI coding tools: where they accelerate work, where human judgment matters, and how teams should work with them responsibly.

 * Experience with ledgers, settlement, custody, clearing, or core banking is especially valuable.
\n

 * Experience delivering highly available, mission-critical backend systems with strong recovery mechanisms and observability.
\n

 * Clear communication skills and the ability to explain technical tradeoffs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
\n

 * High ownership, strong craftsmanship, collaborative instincts, and a "find the path forward" mindset.
