Experience that would be great to have: * Experience within financial services, payments, banking, or fintech environments. * Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPN connectivity, firewalls, load balancing, and SSL/TLS. * Experience with cloud-native architectures, event-driven systems, APIs, and real-time transaction processing platforms. * Ability to write technical specifications a development team can build from. * Experience deploying and supporting containerized applications on Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift, including networking, scaling, and troubleshooting. * Familiarity with networking technologies including firewalls, load balancers, proxies, and hybrid cloud connectivity. * Experience supporting applications in AWS environments. * Experience with monitoring and observability tools. ## Description In this role, you will contribute to the development and support of the cloud-native Vision NEXT platform - Fiserv's next-generation, cloud-native card issuing and payment processing platform built on microservices, APIs, and event-driven architecture - leveraging APIs, event-driven architectures, AWS services, and real-time authorization capabilities. You will serve as a technical resource for application development, integration, troubleshooting, and client implementations while helping provide software solutions for our LATAM partners. What you'll do * Design, develop, test, and implement software applications supporting Fiserv's Vision NEXT platform. * Develop and support REST and event-driven integrations - RabbitMQ, webhooks - applying retry and idempotency design patterns for reliable delivery. * Develop and support integrations utilizing APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures. * Build and maintain API test automation using RestAssured, Karate, and Postman/Newman. * Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, connectivity, and production support issues. * Work closely with infrastructure, network, and security teams to ensure platform stability, performance, and reliability. * Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, security requirements, and engineering best practices. * Support cloud-native applications deployed within AWS environments. * Monitor system performance and assist with root cause analysis for application and network-related issues., * This is a fully onsite position, Monday through Friday.
