Job Summary:The Manager, Frontend Development role is responsible for leading the people, delivery, and technical direction of the frontend development function. This role focuses on building and supporting a high-performing team that delivers clean, usable, modern user interfaces while establishing strong front-end engineering practices across our platforms.This position provides leadership across React-based feature development, modernization of existing platform interfaces, reusable patterns, modular components, style guides, accessibility practices, testing expectations, and frontend standards. The Manager, Frontend Development works closely with developers, designers, product owners, project managers, engineering leaders, and other stakeholders to align technical execution with product goals, user experience needs, platform direction, and team capacity.As a people leader, this role is expected to coach and develop frontend developers, support hiring and performance management, guide
practical technical decisions, remove delivery obstacles, and promote a culture of ownership, collaboration, maintainability, accessibility, and continuous improvement. The Manager, Frontend Development should also model responsible use of AI-powered development tools to improve delivery, support learning, and strengthen team effectiveness while maintaining accountability for quality, security, and technical understanding.
