## About the Role

* 8+ years of experience in network or application delivery engineering or architecture.
 * Expert-level F5 BIG-IP experience, including LTM, GTM/DNS, and security modules, in large enterprise environments.
 * Hands-on experience with Cisco Secure Workload, including policy design, agent deployment, application insight, and enforcement.
 * Strong understanding of TCP/IP, TLS/PKI, HTTP/S, DNS, and high-availability design.
 * Experience working directly with application teams to gather requirements and drive adoption.

Preferred Qualifications

 * Experience with F5 Distributed Cloud, NGINX, or other application delivery controller platforms.
 * Familiarity with Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI), firewall policy, and micro segmentation strategy.
 * Automation experience with Python, Terraform, Ansible, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
 * F5 Certified Administrator, F5 Certified Technology Specialist, F5 Certified Solution Expert, Cisco Certified Network Professional Security, or equivalent certification preferred.
 * Ability to collaborate openly with architects, engineers, project managers, and customer stakeholders; share knowledge; document work for others; and communicate clearly in a team setting.

## Description

* World Wide Technology is seeking two App Delivery Architects to serve as subject matter experts in application delivery and application-level segmentation. The architects will combine F5 load balancing and traffic management expertise with Cisco Secure Workload (CSW) for workload visibility and micro segmentation. The architects will design resilient, secure application delivery platforms and help application teams adopt zero-trust principles., * Architect and standardize F5 solutions, including BIG-IP Local Traffic Manager (LTM), Global Traffic Manager/Domain Name System (GTM/DNS), Application Security Manager/Advanced Web Application Firewall (ASM/Advanced WAF), Access Policy Manager (APM), and VELOS, rSeries, and Virtual Edition (VE) platforms for on-premises and cloud-hosted applications.
 * Design and deploy Cisco Secure Workload (formerly Tetration) agents and sensors, application dependency mapping, policy generation, and enforcement.
 * Translate application flows and dependencies into segmentation policy, and partner with application owners to validate and enforce policies safely.
 * Lead migrations, upgrades, and lifecycle refreshes of F5 platforms, including iRules, iApps/Application Services 3 Extension (AS3), and certificate management.
 * Develop automation and Infrastructure as Code for F5 and Cisco Secure Workload using AS3/Declarative Onboarding (DO), Terraform, Ansible, and REST APIs.
 * Troubleshoot complex application delivery, SSL/TLS, and performance issues using packet captures, logs, and telemetry.
 * Define standards, patterns, and operational runbooks, and share knowledge with operations and engineering teams.
