Your mandate is to find and drive the opportunities to simplify and streamline both our customer experiences and the way third party partners onboard to them. That means seeing the patterns that no individual team can see on its own, then turning them into shared frameworks, standards, and reusable building blocks that make every team faster. You will work closely with software engineers, engineering managers, product managers, and designers to ensure the solutions we deliver are highly available and enable Professional Services teams to manage deployment and installation with minimal engineering support. You will partner directly with integration partners to understand the varying needs of new agencies we are launching, and you will lead the implementation of the cross-cutting work that raises the bar for everyone. Join us to work with a passionate, mission-driven group of folks who want to positively impact the lives of first responders and those they serve. What You'll Do Location: Onsite at Seattle office 4 days a week Reports to: Director of Software Engineering Direct Reports: None * Work across multiple teams in the organization to identify and remove friction in our customer and partner experiences * Own and simplify the third party partner onboarding experience end to end, from first integration conversation to production launch * Define and evangelize a common framework for deploying and managing integrations at scale * Build the technical roadmap for cross-team integration and platform work spanning incident management, drones, alarms, vehicle location, cameras, LPR, RMS, and CAD * Lead engineering architecture and design reviews across teams * Set a high technical bar through code and architecture design reviews * Mentor and grow engineers across multiple squads * Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership to create integration solutions that delight our customers * Improve our engineering process, including long-term thinking, sprint planning, and stand-ups * Build services that adhere to our high bar on availability and latency in this mission-critical space * Leverage AI to bring about exciting new customer experiences, The above job description is not intended as, nor should it be construed as, exhaustive of all duties, responsibilities, skills, efforts, or working conditions associated with this job.
