## Description

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable microservices in a cloud-native environment. The ideal candidate is a strong Java/Spring Boot developer who is comfortable working with containerized deployments, distributed databases, and API management platforms. They should also actively use modern AI coding assistants to accelerate development, improve code quality, and speed up delivery., * Design, develop, and maintain microservices using Java and Spring Boot.

 * Containerize applications using Docker and deploy/manage them on Kubernetes.
 * Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab (GitLab CI/CD).
 * Work with Cassandra for high-throughput, distributed data storage.
 * Configure, secure, and manage APIs through Apigee (API gateway, policies, proxies).
 * Use AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) to write, review, refactor, and debug code more efficiently.
 * Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning.
 * Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to on-call rotation as needed.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, Product) to deliver features end-to-end.
 * Write unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
