 * Bachelors degree in a STEM field or equivalent practical experience.
 * Demonstrated expertise building, hardening, and operating scalable systems in live enterprise cloud environments across Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud (GCP), with strong proficiency in modern languages such as Python, Go, Rust, or Java.
 * Deep hands-on experience utilizing modern AI coding harnesses, frontier models (including frontier cyber models), agentic workflows, and emerging tool protocols (e.g., Model Context Protocol); proven ability to implement prompt engineering, evaluation loops, and containment safeguards.
 * 5+ years of hands-on technical leadership and mentorship experience, with a product mindset and comfort navigating ambiguity to drive high-velocity outcomes (founder or early-stage startup experience is a strong plus).
 * Proven ability to communicate complex technical risk transparently to both engineering teams and senior executives, supported by sound judgment regarding ethics, client confidentiality, and legal authorizations.
 * Demonstrated technical portfolio (shipped systems, GitHub repository, CVEs, or certifications such as OSCP, OSEP, OSCE3, or GXPN).
 * Ability to travel domestically as needed.
