## About the Role

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen with an active Secret clearance. Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis.  * Experience implementing regression testing for software.
 * Experience with performance and other non-functional testing.
 * Familiarity or experience with automated test tools.
 * Effective communication with Product Owners and software developers.
 * Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
 * DoD 8570 approved security certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP) within 90 days of hire.
 * Ability to quickly become proficient in new tools and technologies.
 * Ability to identify efficiencies and process improvements between development and testing.
 * Experience with Agile development methodologies.
 * Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN.
 * Experience with issue tracking systems such as VersionOne or Jira.
 * Experience with continuous integration environments such as Jenkins.
 * Proficiency with MS Office products, including Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
 * Agile certification is desired.
 * Knowledge of DevOps practices is desired.

## Description

* Author and execute manual and automated test cases to validate product requirements.
 * Author and maintain tools, techniques, and practices that support product testing.
 * Participate in agile planning, analysis and design events, and reviews.
 * Verify quality checks and acceptance criteria before code merges.
 * Report bugs and test results completely and on time.
 * Identify, analyze, and document functional or content issues.
 * Contribute to product design reviews with input on requirements, design, schedules, and risks.
 * Write testing documentation and finalize system and software documentation CDRLs.
 * Work within Agile Scrum methodologies.
