## About the Role

The company will offer immigration sponsorship for this position, if needed. The company will seek an export authorization for this role, if required. RTX must be able to obtain and maintain the U.S. export authorization., * Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field

 * 2+ years of experience with C, C++, DOORS, ADA, and/or Python.
 * 2+ years of experience in a Systems role.

Qualifications We Prefer:

 * Industry Experience of Software Lifecycle Development (Design, Requirements, Integration, Test).
 * Pilot/Avionics Experience (i.e. Private Pilot, Aircraft Maintenance, DO-178 Certification).

## Description

The Integrated Flight team is looking for a Systems Engineer II to work within a team of Systems and Software engineers to design, develop, and test software features for flight management systems that are integrated into business and regional jets.

This is an onsite position in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

 * Work within a team of Systems and Software engineers to design, develop, and test software features for flight management systems that are integrated into business and regional jets.
 * Grow knowledge of Systems Engineering and Flight Management Systems.
 * Integrate soft skills (leadership, communication, coordination, proactiveness) into a dynamic environment that provides quality and timely products to internal and external customers.
