## About the Role

Software Design, Technical/Engineering Design, Software Engineering, Technical/Engineering Design, Software Design, Software Engineering, Web Services, Internet Application, Product Support, Internet/Online Service, * Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field from a four-year college or university

 * Ten (10) years of relevant professional software development experience including web applications
 * Comfortable being a significant contributor with a broad range of responsibilities within a small software engineering group
 * Experience working in an ISO 9001:2015 environment a plus
 * React Native app development (iOS and Android) experience is desirable
 * Experience with Object Oriented Programming principles and practices
 * Experience developing web services, web APIs, and Windows desktop applications using C#, .NET, ASP .NET Core, Svelte, and MVC architectures
 * Experience with web application programming languages including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Python, XML, and JSON
 * Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Management Studio, T-SQL, database tuning and design, and stored procedure creation
 * Experience with web server setup for Windows Server
 * Experience developing software applications in a cross-functional product development team
 * Experience with network and communication protocols' packetization and error detection/correction
 * Strong design, analysis and troubleshooting skills
 * Familiarity with encryption, authentication, security methods and protocols for Cloud and IoT applications
 * Familiarity with programming with threads/tasks and concurrency
 * Familiarity with or interest in AI/ML tools and techniques
 * Ability to recommend and justify the purchase of tools and equipment
 * Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, SOLID)
 * Experience managing Azure resources is desirable

## Description

Kforce has a client in Phoenix, AZ that is seeking a Senior Software Design Engineer. Responsibilities may include:

 * Design, develop and deploy web sites and Web service applications to support Knox products
 * Collaborate with other disciplines to design and develop high quality, highly reliable, easily maintainable hardware/systems with an emphasis on simplicity and time-to-market
 * Development of supporting design documentation
 * Work closely within a small engineering team to develop, troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance software applications
 * Provide sustaining engineering support for software applications
