## About the Role

This hands-on technical role combines advanced Microsoft SQL Server development, ETL/ELT data engineering, database architecture, and operational support. The ideal candidate will have strong T-SQL development expertise, experience building and optimizing enterprise data pipelines, and the ability to independently troubleshoot complex database performance and data quality issues., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

 * 5-8 years of hands-on Microsoft SQL Server development experience.
\n

 * 6+ years of software development and systems integration experience.
\n

 * Advanced expertise in T-SQL, including complex queries, joins, stored procedures, views, functions, and query optimization.
\n

 * Strong experience designing, developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting ETL/ELT pipelines and enterprise data integrations.
\n

 * Experience with data ingestion, incremental loading, transformations, validation, reconciliation, and data quality processes.
\n

 * Hands-on experience with enterprise data warehousing and dimensional data modeling.
\n

 * Strong SQL Server performance tuning skills, including indexing strategies, execution plans, and query optimization.
\n

 * Experience with database design, schema modifications, and troubleshooting database-driven applications.
\n

 * Ability to independently investigate and resolve complex database, application, and data integration issues.
\n

 * Experience supporting enterprise reporting and business intelligence solutions.
\n

 * Strong technical documentation, testing, and production support experience.
\n

 * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

 * Ability to work onsite in New York City 3 days per week.
