## About the Role

Software Engineering, Environmental Impact, User Interface/Experience (UI/UX), Network Systems, Testing, Test Scripts, Middleware, Software Architecture, Software Simulation, Test Plan/Schedule, * Deep understanding of Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL), Software-in-the-Loop (SIL), and simulation testing strategies, particularly for safety-critical systems.

 * Proficiency in scripting and test automation languages (e.g., Python, C++, and Bash) to build robust, scalable testing frameworks.
 * Strong knowledge of CI/CD best practices and principles. Direct experience with Buildkite is a plus.
 * Hands-on ability to troubleshoot physical test benches, including reading electrical schematics and using lab tools like oscilloscopes, multimeters, and PCAN adapters.
 * Experience using infrastructure-as-code and environment management tools (specifically Nix, or similar tools like Docker/Ansible) to ensure reproducible test environments.

## Description

* Integrate automated HIL testing directly into the Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines, ensuring code stability and preventing regressions prior to merging.
 * Collaborate closely with software engineering teams to understand their needs, identify and implement improvements in our Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) Infrastructure and Continuous Integration (CI) systems.
 * Monitor and report on runtime performance, system health, and reliability metrics across all HIL testing platforms.
