## About the Role

* 4+ years of programming experience in Java, Node.js, Go, or comparable building high throughput APIs.
 * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
 * Strong problem solving, written and verbal communication skills
 * Passion for CI/CD, automation, and DevOps practices to increase delivery velocity
 * Foundation of Docker & Kubernetes operational skills and tools
 * Experience with cloud providers and platforms such as AWS and Azure
 * Experience using AI developer tools such as GitHub Copilot (or similar)

qualifications:

 - Experience with Envoy proxy configuration (service meshes, routing/load balancing systems)

 - Familiarity with observability tools (logging, metrics, tracing)

 - Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance

 - Experience designing systems for high availability and fault tolerance

 - Prior experience leading medium-to-large technical initiatives

## Description

Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable, reliable backend services using Go (experience with additional languages such as Java, C++, Python is a plus)

 - Own services throughout their lifecycle: design, development, testing, deployment, and operations

 - Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions

 - Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes, tooling, and CI/CD pipelines
